What is Training?

Training teaches Jodie about your business. This is her knowledge base. When customers call, she uses this information to answer their questions.

You add things like:

  • Your website

  • FAQs

  • PDFs with prices or services

  • Answers to common questions

Important: Don't write instructions here like "Make sure Jodie says this." That won't work. Just give her the facts she needs.

We Normally Already Have Your Website Info

  • Good news! When you signed up, we pulled information from your website. Jodie already knows your basic details.

  • When you go to training you will see text is already there.

  • Review it to see what Jodie already knows about your business and then you can see what you need to add.

How to Find Training

On your phone: Tap the menu, then "Training"

On computer: Click "Training" on the left side

Look at what's already there first. Scroll down to see your current training sources.

What Should You Add?

Start with your website

If we didn't get it already, add your website first & any relevant pages

Add PDFs when your website is missing things

  • Price lists

  • Service menus

  • How your process works

Add text for quick fixes

  • Answers to questions customers ask a lot

  • New services or prices

  • Special offers

When to Add More Training

Your website has everything: You probably don't need much more.

Your website is missing key info: Add what's missing as PDFs or text.

Customers ask the same questions: Add those answers.

How to Add Training

  1. Check what you already have

  2. Click "Add Knowledge"

  3. Pick what to add:

    • Website

    • PDF file

    • Type it in directly

  4. Save it

Company Settings

In Company Info you can change:

  • Your business name

    • If Jodie pronounces it wrong then type it Phonetically

  • When you're open

  • Contact details

Tips for Good Training

Do this:

  • Add real facts about your business

  • Update when things change

  • Add text FAQs to answer questions customers ask often

Don't do this:

  • Write scripts for Jodie to follow

  • Add old information

  • Tell Jodie how to behave

Is Your Training Working?

Good signs:

  • Jodie answers questions confidently

  • She gives accurate information

  • Customers get what they need

Bad signs:

  • Jodie says "I don't know" too much

  • Information is wrong or old

  • Customers are confused

What to Do Next

  1. Look at your current training

  2. Find what's missing

  3. Add the missing information

  4. Check how Jodie does and add more if needed

The more you teach Jodie, the better she helps your customers.
