How It Works

Jodie is goal-oriented - she'll answer customer questions based on your website and training data, but she'll also naturally collect the information you need during the conversation.

This information is available in your dashboard & via email after every call.

Setting Up Information Collection

  1. Go to Settings > Smart Questions

  2. Choose which information to collect by toggling each option:

Always Required:

  • Name - Personalizes conversations and creates accurate records

  • Phone Number - Essential for follow-up contact and scheduling

  • Message - Asks customers to describe their needs and requirements

Optional:

  • Email Address - For confirmations, quotes, and ongoing communication

  • Address - Gather location information for service calls and deliveries

  1. Click Save Changes

How Jodie Collects Information

Jodie will naturally work these questions into the conversation flow:

  • She'll ask for missing information when it becomes relevant

  • She won't interrupt - she'll find the right moment to ask

  • She'll collect info while helping customers with their questions

  • If booking comes up and you have the booking system enabled, she'll handle that too (SMS booking links)

Example

Customer calls asking about services β†’ Jodie answers their questions AND naturally collects:

  • Their name for personalisation

  • Phone number for follow-up

  • What specific service they need

  • Email (if enabled) for quotes

  • Address (if enabled) for service location

All while having a helpful conversation!
