Get Your Jodie Phone Number

First, find your Jodie number in your dashboard. Look for "Your Phone Line" - this is where Jodie answers calls. You'll use this number for all the setup steps below.

Quick Setup (Easiest Way)

For Mobile Users:

  1. Look for the "Setup" button on your dashboard (below "Your Phone Line")

  2. Click it to set up basic forwarding

  3. This lets you turn call forwarding on and off from your phone

  4. When it's on, all calls go to Jodie

This is the fastest way to get started.

Mobile Call Forwarding

iPhone Setup

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap PhoneCall Forwarding

  3. Turn it on

  4. Enter your Jodie number from the dashboard

Done! To turn off: just toggle it off again.

  1. Open the Phone app

  2. Tap the 3 dots (top right) → Settings

  3. Choose CallsCall forwarding

  4. Tap Voice callAlways forward

  5. Enter your Jodie number from the dashboard

Done! To turn off: tap Turn off in the same place.

Smart Forwarding (Only When You Don't Answer)

This is the method we recommend most because it's flexible and doesn't require switching forwarding on and off manually!

Want Jodie to answer only if you don't pick up? This is called Conditional Call Forwarding.

How It Works

  • Your phone rings first (about 4-5 times)

  • If you don't answer, the call goes to Jodie

  • If you do answer, you handle the call normally

Setup Using Phone Codes

  1. Open your Phone dialler

  2. Type this code (replace with your Jodie number):

*61*YOUR-JODIE-NUMBER**20#
  1. Press Call

Example: If your Jodie number is 07123456789, you'd type:

*61*07123456789**20#

This means: "If I don't answer in 20 seconds (about 4-5 rings), forward to Jodie"

Turn Off Conditional Forwarding

Type this code and press call:

##61#

Other Timing Options

You can change the 20 seconds to:

  • 10 = about 2 rings

  • 15 = about 3 rings

  • 25 = about 5 rings

Just replace the 20 in the code with your preferred number.

Landline Forwarding

Option 1: Direct Forwarding

  • Set your landline to go straight to Jodie.

  • Good for: After hours or when you're away

  • Setup: Call your landline provider (BT, Sky, etc.) and ask them to forward calls to your Jodie number.

Option 2: Landline → Mobile → Jodie

  • If your landline already forwards to your mobile, keep that setup. Then add conditional forwarding on your mobile using the codes above.

  • How it works: Landline → Your Mobile → Jodie (if you don't answer)

  • Setup: Use the conditional forwarding codes on your mobile. Your landline provider setup stays the same.

Testing Your Setup

  1. Set up forwarding using one of the methods above

  2. Call your business number from another phone

  3. Don't answer (if using conditional forwarding)

  4. Check that Jodie picks up

If it doesn't work, double-check your Jodie number and try again.
