How do I change Jodie's greeting? How do I change Jodie's name? How do I set up email notifications? My settings aren't updating. You can customize Jodie's greeting message and manage email notifications from the Customise Assistant page.
Custom greeting
Change how Jodie greets callers when they first call.
Default greeting: "{Business Name}, Jodie speaking - how can I help?"
How to set a custom greeting
Go to Settings > Customise Assistant
Click Edit next to "Custom Greeting"
Enter your custom greeting message
Keep it short and friendly
Click Save
Example custom greetings:
"Hi! You've reached A B C Plumbing, this is Jodie. What can I do for you?"
If Jodie says your business name wrong, type it out phonetically
"Hello, Jodie here from Smith & Co. How may I assist you today?"
"Thanks for calling Green Gardens! I'm Jodie, how can I help?"
Email notifications
Set up who gets notified when new calls come in.
To add notification contacts
In the Contacts section, click Add Contact
Enter the email address
Click Save
These contacts receive email notifications whenever a new call comes in.
Managing contacts
Add multiple email addresses for your team
Remove contacts by clicking the delete icon
All listed contacts get notified for every call
Changes not showing up?
Changes save immediately when you click Save. Jodie's voice agent updates within a few seconds. The next call after saving will use your updated greeting.
If Jodie still uses the old greeting on the next call, wait a minute and try again. The update runs in the background and should take effect within seconds.
If Jodie still pronounces your business name wrong after changing the greeting, try spelling the name how it sounds (phonetically). See Jodie mispronounces words on our calls for more tips.
